Clark Patrick Gallaher was a Saturday's child who had "far to go" – born on Saturday, August 26, 1978 and died on Saturday, February 9, 2008. During his earthly existence, Clark was a thoughtful, kind, and generous young man who loved the outdoors and running the desert trails with his teammates and friends on the cross-country teams at Shea Middle School and Shadow Mountain High School where he graduated with the class of 1997. Clark demonstrated a strong love for animals at Phoenix veterinary clinic, working his way up from kennel duties to assisting in surgeries as a vet technician. In any of his work assignments in any of his work places, he proved himself to be hard working and always brought his unique talents for efficiency and organization to any task. Clark has left, for a time, his mom, Suzanne Cook Gallaher, a teacher at Alhambra High School; his dad, David W. Gallaher, retired from the FDIC; and his best friend – his brother, Grant Nelson Gallaher. Clark's grandmothers, Marie Cook and Mildred Gallaher, reside in Winchester, KY. Our beloved Saturday's child with far to go was ours for a time, but now has moved ahead to the blessed peace that Heaven affords. Thank you, Clark, for the years of sharing your challenges and your joys. You have made all the difference in our lives. A memorial service will take place at 11 AM Saturday, February 16th, at Scottsdale Bible Church, 7601 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, Arizona. Interment to follow at Paradise Memorial Gardens, 9300 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, immediately following the service. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary. Published in The Arizona Republic on 2/14/2008.
Tami ultimately graduated from Xavier, but my understanding is that she went to Shea middle school and possibly a few years at SMHS. I have recently learned that she passed away in a tragic car accident in June 1988.

Truck pins driver against loading dock, killing him Author(s): Gene Haschak Daily Herald Staff Writer Date: February 4, 2005 Page: 3 Section: News A 36-year-old Aurora man was killed around 6:30 a.m. Thursday when he was crushed by his own truck at a Jewel Food Store loading dock, 1660 Larkin Ave., Elgin. Kenneth Ulickey was pronounced dead at 6:57 a.m. at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin. Elgin police and firefighters responded to the 911 call Thursday morning, finding a man on the ground surrounded by store employees and witnesses. He was lying in the area of Jewel's loading docks behind the store. Police and firefighters were told the man had been pinned against one of the loading docks. Someone had moved the truck to assist the victim. Police said it appeared that Ulickey, the driver of the GMC box truck, had backed the truck up to the loading dock and exited his vehicle. Police said they weren't sure if he set the truck's emergency brake or if he thought he set the brake and it wasn't working. Ulickey went to the rear of his vehicle, possibly to open or close its rear door and the truck pinned him against the dock, police said. The traffic unit of the Elgin Police Department continued to investigate the accident late Thursday. If anyone witnessed the accident or has information, call Sgt. Thomas Olson at (847) 289-2661. © Copyright Daily Herald, Paddock Publications, Inc.
From Ron's brother, Jeff Dhooghe '85: Sadly Ronnie passed away due to complications of HIV-Aids on November 29, 1991. He was a sweet and giving person who overcame divorce, sibling separation and child abuse. He attended community college in Glendale, AZ and aspired to be a physical therapist. He was a very social person who loved to dance and spend time with his friends. I hope this satisfies everyone's curiosity and it would be fine for you to contact me for additional information about Ronnie for the alumni web site. I thank you so much for the opportunity to remember Ronnie as he should be.
